Pike Committee Files
In response to revelations about the CIA, in February of 1975 the House of Representatives created the House Select Intelligence Committee. Also called the "Nedzi Committee" after its chairman, this was replaced and enlarged five months later by the Pike Committee (named after its chairman, Rep. Otis Pike of New York). The report of the controversial committee was never released by the House, theough it was leaked and printed in the Village Voice on 16 Feb 1976. These documents are some highlights from the Pike Committee collection.
