May 7-13, 1961 report: 48 DRE members arrested during second week of May in Oriente province. They were arrested when they tried to leave the Sierra Cristal after the failure at the Bay of Pigs. Other DRE members were arrested in Habana, including Manuel Salvat/AMHINT-2, head of DRE's propaganda section, and Manuel Garcia Armangol, head of DRE's action and sabotage section. Thybault a subordinate or pseudonym for David Morales? "On August 31 1961 AMCHEER-1/Julio Garcia submitted a report...the Navy office is now located in a two-story house at 2301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. The entire Naval intelligence department occupies the first floor of this house. The radio receivers to monitor Cuban stations are also installed on the first floor of this house."
