In addition, during testimony on March 11, 1966, Jose Luis Gonzalez Gallarreta mentioned a CIA operative Streit (phonetic) approached Arnol Rodriguez in Madrid. Streit is fairly close to Sirett. Gonzalez Gallarreta also mentioned Jim Noel in his testimony as being chief of the CIA in Madrid. Furthermore, Streit was mentioned in another part of the file, and it stated that Streit should read Ray.

In addition plane crew Paul Sirett and Mr. Nick Zubon, KUSODA (CIA Office of Security) official, will accompany plane...C. On morning 18 Jan Merton will drive AMCLATTER-1 to home of ODUNIT attache. AMCLATTER-1 is staying at safehouse in Merton's apartment building. AMCLATTER-1 will then chauffeur ODUNIT attache, his copilot and Merton to plane side at Campo Libertad. Upon arrival at plane side AMCLATTER-1 will go aboard and remain out of sight either in cockpit area or toilet of plane. No problem envisioned in his boarding plane this manner as plane parked away from buildings and other planes. D. Sirett and Zubon will arrive simultaneously. Items A and B which are attached are being submitted to Headquarters for information and retention, and whatever internal (KUBARK) distribution is deemed appropriate. 2. Item A is a typewritten letter addressed to Manuel Ray Rivero and signed by 'R. Barquin.' The signature does not appear on the copy. Item B is a penciled note and contains comments relative to Manuel Ray's declaration. 3. The original documents were forwarded to the writer by AMPALM-2 via ODACID (U.S. State Department) channels, requesting that they be held until AMPALM-2's return to Havana. Apparently the documents are for delivery to Manuel Ray, and will be held by the Station as requested, even though they may be valueless at the time of AMPALM-2's return. Paul F. Sirett."
