The first document in the series reveals that LIPSTICK-20 is the cryptonym of Ramon Joseph Alvarez Durant. 104-10131-10087: HSCA REQUEST

The document states Durant was "employed as a Contract Agent from 1955 to 1970. During some of this period he was assigned to Mexico City."

104-10219-10004: (RESTRICTED)

11/29/55 memo from Mexico to Director: "Urgently request approval LIPSTICK-20 contract status on interim basis pending final approval LIPSTICK project. Cover situation forcing 20 to consider other employment which would preclude use by station as long term perfectly covered contract agent." See p. 23 - written contract states he was hired orally as independent agent since March 55 for indefinite period.
