Cryptonym: LIMUD
Definition:
Mail intercept operation in Mexico.
Status:
Documented
Discussion:
Often related to LIBIGHT during 1963, see http://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=27328&relPageId=6&search=LIBIGHT_AND%20LIMUD
All references to LIMUD are deleted from the Mexico City Station history. Information on program closely held. almost certainly because of its illegal nature.
LIMUD may have been especially sensitive because opening the mail would reveal "the mud" on that individual.
