Two cables on July 29, 1978, stated that KDAFGHAN-2 (IDENTITY B) was Victoria Gallego Hernandez, the mother of KDAFGHAN-1. In addition, KDAFGHAN-1 (IDENTITY A) was Alberto Rodriguez Gallego.

In connection with a request by the House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) to interview selected former Mexico City station assets, HQs would appreciate the station's assistance in determining the current location and/or residence of KDAFGAHN-1 (K-1) (IDENTITY A). We request that liaison not be queried and the station should not recontact K-1 at this time. 2. According to HQs records KDAFGHAN-1...and his mother KDAFGHAN-2 (IDENTITY B), were terminated by the Mexico City station on 1 August 1972 and requested they be resettled in Spain - K-1 and we assume KDAFGHAN-2 arrived in Madrid circa 11 September 1972.
