A cable in February of 1960 stated that the propaganda wing of the MRR was headed by AMPALM-1 (Oscar Echeverria y Salvat) and was assisted by AMPAD-1, Manuel Salvat, Fernandez Planas and Antonio Garcia. AMPAD-1 also appears to have had knowledge of at least some AMSPELL (DRE) members.

A dispatch from JMWAVE on September 14, 1962, stated that Attachment B consisted of two reports, with photographs, which were obtained from AMPAD-1 on the Helsinki Youth Festival. DRE members attended this event.

A dispatch on February 13, 1963, stated "in independent reports by AMPAD-1, AMPALM-4 (Angel Fernandez Varela) and William S. Wibalda (probably Robert Wall), the true identity of the author was established as Subject of reference (i.e. Dahlman)...AMPAD-1 reported that considerable information was made available to Dahlman by Miguel Laza, the AMSPELL representative in New York City."

A dispatch from Madrid in October of 1963 stated that AMPAD-1 was in frequent contact with Vicente Echave Cabrera, Coordinator for the JURE in that city, and A-1 made available correspondence. Osorio Davilla Santana, Roberto Cervera and Germinal Rivas were mentioned in documents attached to the dispatch.

Osorio Davilla Santana in particular was mentioned in a number of CIA documents, and appeared to be the source for a few CIA reports on JURE in 1964, along with Armando Alanis Angulo (probably AMTAUP-2). See: https://www.maryferrell.org/search.html?q=Osorio%20Davilla%20Santana&types=D

AMPAD-1 reported that considerable information was made available to Dahlman by Miguel Laza, the AMSPELL (DRE) representative in New York City. The present furore is caused because AMHINT-53 and AMHINT-2 (Juan Manuel Salvat Roque) thought the book was going to be a serious undertaking which would 'immortalize AMSPELL and its leaders for posterity.' The paperback edition, with a rather light, slick adventure twist, was not what the AMSPELL leaders had in mind. Further, AMPAD-1 believed that AMSPELL and Dahlman had reached some sort of agreement whereby AMSPELL was to receive a small percentage of the profits. To the knowledge of AMPAD-1, Dahlman is not a member of AMSPELL."
