Cryptonym: AMLILAC-2

Return to Main Crypts Page

Unknown identity. His 201 number is very close to that of the AMKNOB-1 figure - who in turn has a 201 number very close to who appears to be Guillermo Ruiz.

Guillermo Ruiz was 201-335938 as of 9/9/63 - he appear to be somehow inter-related to the case of 201-335958, which can be seen in the opposite right hand column of this index page - no later than June, 1964, Ruiz became 201-735296 while infiltrating counter-revolutionary groups in Mexico. Also see 104-10163-10250, an index card that documents the "debriefing of 201-335958, 16 through 20 Sep 63". Also see 104-10163-10256, a partial document - UFGA-11453 - which appears to be the debriefing of AMKNOB-1. He provides biographic data on Cuban consul Eusebio Azcue, Ramon Sinobas/AMRIFT-1 who was being used in the AMROD operation, and others. Also see 1994.03.07.15:38:13:120007, a cross-reference document that refers to the 11453 document above and states that Azcue was an "acquaintance of 201-335958". Best proof that AMKNOB-1 and 201-335958 one and the same.

104-10163-10041: ARTIME BUESA, MANUAL (VOL XII).

04/17/64, Dispatch from COS, JMWAVE to Chief, Special Affairs Staff: CONTACT REPORT # 55: Operation: AMWORLD. Contact: AMYUM-19. Time and Place: 1800-1630 Hrs., 6 Apr 64, S/W. Date typed: 7 Apr 64: SUMMARY:..."3. AMLILAC-2 has been told by ODURGE (U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) that as long as AMYUM/MRR requests permission for him to leave the country he will be blackballed (see previous reports for reason for blackballing). According to A-19 ODURGE suggested that if he was to be used he could be taken out as a crewman on the Adelaide. A-19 wanted to know if it was CIA that was keeping him on the list. Guertler pleaded ignorance and remarked that it could be for any number of reasons completely unrelated to his past relations with CIA..."

1966: AMLILAC-2 is identified as 201-335950, IRD #54661. By comparison, AMKNOB-1 was known as "the Swiss" (201-335958), Pedro Fedeli Medici. https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=191562 Piero Fedeli Medici had some kind of close relationship with Guillermo Ruiz (201-335938 and 201-735296). Ruiz was a Cuban intelligence officer and married to the cousin of Antonio Veicana/AMSHALE-1. AMKNOB-1 was an asset of Win Scott in Mexico City during 1963.
