Definition:
AMBLAB-1 is Domingo G. Silverio, aka "Alligator." Alligator is another messenger (besides AMULAR) used by Silvio Cardenas as a channel to William Pawley. Cardenas was the contact person for Rubio Padilla to communicate with Pawley. Rubio, Cardenas, and Pepin Rivero were active in the anti-Castro Accion Democratica Christiana (ADC) group in Cuba.

3/14/60 Robert Reynolds memo re meeting with Pawley in his office in MIami. Pawley urged to keep Rubio Padilla in Cuba as long as possible. "I turned over to Pawley a couple of messages from Cardenas which Dave Morales had brought over from Habana with him. The essence of these messages: When are you going to answer our earlier correspondence?...Freyre showed up in another office - he didn't see me - with 'Alligator', the messenger used by Cardenas as another channel to Pawley. Pawley talked to Alligator while I waited outside."

Late April, 1960, pages 4-26: Series of notes on current events written by Alligator and sent to "Fiallo" and "Diaz T." 1994.05.18.13:40:25:750005, p. 267: Amallo Fiallo was one of the overt leaders of the MDC. 104-10265-10130, p. 4: General Martin Diaz Tamayo was meeting with Pawley, Francisco Rodriguez Tamayo and others on a plan with General Pedraza to form a "constitutional army" and move them out of the country to different bases.

8/3/62 PW/Alice Caponong to Director. AMBLAB-1 "interviewed six (Cubans in) WAVE area with result that two not know of AMBUD-1/Miro Cardona's speech and other four read it in Diario. Three thought it good, but not have much faith in AMBUD-1."
