Discussion:
A dispatch on October 9, 1962, stated that Carlos Badias Vasquez was waiting to be approved to Brazil for the DRE.

A memo on October 18, 1962, mentioned that AMBARB-63 was among a number of AMBARBs (propaganda project to place DRE - Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil - members in universities throughout Latin America) that were awaiting assignment. AMBARB-63 had a 201 number of 201-314419, and a C-number of C-97490.

A DRE document stated that Carlos Badia Vasquez was the delegate to San Salvador. He was a law student at University of Havana. Carlos Badia Vasquez was born in Havana.
