Membership
The Mary Ferrell Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to making information widely available. All are welcome to use the site. However, we offer special benefits to site users who become MFF members.
The MFF offers three levels of membership:
Free Individual Membership
With a free membership, you can:
- Write comments
- Rate site content
Note: Free memberships do not grant users full access to search results.
Paid Individual Membership
For $39.95 per year, a paid membership allows you to:
- Use advanced search tools and get full access to search results
- Write comments
- Rate site content
Institutional Memberships
Colleges, universities, libraries and other institutions may sign up for institution-wide access to the MFF website, including the full use of advanced search tools. Email info@maryferrell.org to get more information about institutional memberships.
Membership Policies
We encourage members to make full use of the Mary Ferrell Foundation's website. However, all members are required to follow basic guidelines when using the MFF website and its services.
Note: See the Comments Policy for more details about what activities might be considered abuse of the MFF system.
Guidelines for Use
- Use respectful language when posting on the website.
- Do not "flood" the commenting system. "Flood" means to overload the system with posts that are incomplete, irrelevant, or unhelpful for the greater common body of knowledge.
- The MFF reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to revoke access to some or all of site services if a member is deemed by the foundation to have violated site use policies and guidelines.
Refund Policy
If the MFF determines that a paid member has violated the MFF's policies, membership may be revoked and no money will be refunded. Other requests for refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please email info@maryferrell.org to inquire about a refund.
