Graduated from Harvard in 1943 and Yale Law School in 1948. Served in Air Force during WWII. Served as special assistant to assistant secretary of defense from 1961 to 1964. Died of leukemia January 5, 2000, at age 77, in Georgetown University Hospital. Survived by son, Tobias Yarmolinsky.
